The Nature Based Solutions (NBS) of GreenLife Society mainly consists of developing small precise projects with simple objectives. Achieve practical conservation for endangered wildlife and assist in community development by establishing income generated projects to support local needs.
Our Mission
The problems of the world are interconnected. concentrating on one part of the whole picture, e.g. environment will give only a partial view. GreenLife Society combines environment, development, peace and human rights issues in its activities.
To achieve significant changes we need to work together. local action is important, but only by collaboration we can make a real change in this world. GreenLife Society promotes collaboration as a central part of its work.
People feel easily powerless when facing world's problems. ordinary people lack all too often the means to be active participants in shaping their fate. GreenLife Society promotes empowerment of people on grassroots level.
Small is beautiful. we strongly believe projects, which are designed on a small-scale basis are the most successful due to the following reasons: the element and temptation of corruption is eradicated. the co-operation between the different players is stronger.
All our projects are designed to allow funding from outside only once. emphasis is to create income-generating projects to create self-reliance within the community affected.
“People feel powerless and think they are alone. I have never believed that for one second, all you have to do is ask yourself. The work you are planning is it assisting the weakest people in society and is it beneficial for the environment? If you tick those boxes you will be surprised how many people come and stand together with you to carry out the work you want to accomplish.”
